Product Description
Industry-trusted remote hydraulic crimping head engineered to make consistent, high-quality crimps on large copper and aluminum connectors used in service entrance and utility applications. Delivering 6 tons of compression force, this C-frame tool is compact and lightweight — optimized for use with hot sticks or one-hand operation in tight spaces. Designed to operate with any standard 10,000 psi hydraulic pump, the CN-58H offers seamless integration into existing hydraulic systems without requiring proprietary power units. Its compatibility with widely used Kearney “O†type and Burndy “W†type dies gives crews the versatility to tackle a broad range of lug and splice sizes from #6 AWG up to 500 MCM copper and #6 AWG up to 4/0 aluminum, as well as H-tap crimps up to 4/0-4/0 AL. A protective rubber boot shields the C-head during transport and use, while the included 3/8″ male screw-type coupler makes connection to hydraulic hoses quick and reliable. The CN-58H’s hydraulic-powered force and simple mechanical design deliver robust, repeatable crimps where high force and adaptability with standard dies are priorities.
